uncomplicated high quality ingredients, prepared

with care and skill. The three restaurants are lo-

cated at Österlånggatan 1 in the Old Town, the

other is at Tulegatan 10 in Vasastan and the third

at Tjärhovsgatan 5 on Södermalm. Each of them

has its own unique menu, according to the season

and what is best for the moment in each neigh-

borhood.

From the 18th century.

Back in 1731, the restaurateur Clas Browall ope-

ned a small inn at this address that was named

Browallshof. Here, The King Gustav III, as well as

Carl-Michael Bellman, the famous Swedish poet

and composer, were regular guests among a lot

of others. Today, in the same old classic building,

you’ll find

Clas På Hörnet

, with its hotel and their

restaurant that’s still is called

Browallshof.

Here you can stay, in one of theirs exquisite hotel

rooms, as well as enjoy well-cooked Swedish cui-

sine in their restaurant. If you are looking for Swe-

dish traditions, if you like the Swedish cuisine as

well, then you cannot, compared with what they

are offering at Clas På Körnet and the Browallshof

restaurant, find a better combination of those two.

However, you need to be aware of that you are

taking a risk, as you will long to return to Stockholm

and to the famous Swedish classic meatballs on the

menu in this restaurant. Mmm.

Something extraordinary

Last but not least. Here you have the city’s most

cozy cafe & restaurant with a garden. Someti-

mes you fancy something extraordinary and de-

licious. Then it’s nice to know that you are wel-

come to

Blå Porten

at Djurgården. Here you can

take a coffee break, lunch or dinner with loved

ones while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The cafe is the natural choice if you want to com-

bine good food and a coffee break in a wonder-

ful garden near Östermalm. Every day prepare

the chef here, Swedish cuisine traditional way,

on only the best ingredients. Remember, after the

rain comes the sun.
