In the Old Town
The stylistically modern restaurant, Shogun,
in the Old Town is one of the oldest Japanese
restaurants in the city. This is the address you
want when you feel like trying something else
besides sushi.
“Today, everyone has tasted sushi and are
more curious about other Japanese specialties,”
says owner Andrew Choy.
Shogun has a sushi bar and two tatami rooms
where you sit on braided mats placed directly
on the floor. The menu features both buckwheat
soba noodles in bouillon, as well as rice in tea
bouillon with diced salmon. As a sweet finish
to dinner, they have green tea ice cream on the
menu. Refreshing and different.
