can have cocktails. You can ‘shake it’ together
with your new found friends and with help from
their cellar DJ. Or throw some darts on their
dart boards. So if you find yourself in “Gamla
Stan,” don’t miss to visit O’Connell’s Irish Pub.
The first vodka bar!
And now we’re heading for Gustav Adolf’s
Square. Here we’ll visit
The Vodka Bar,
the first
vodka bar in Sweden. This small hole-in-the-wall
bar is located just around the corner from Gus-
tav Adolf’s Square, is really hip! In contrast to
the people with their fancy suits found seated in
the dining rooms in the hood, in this bar you’ll
find the party people. Guests dance and socia-
lize in this little hole in the wall while popular
hits from the Eurovision Song Contest heat up
the atmosphere. No wonder it’s also the first bar
called The Schlager Bar. Basically however, it’s
a vodka bar. “Here you can order almost any
vodka brand found on the market,” says Johan,
the bar manager.
Specialties from northern Sweden meets urban Stockholm Pulse at Restaurant Knuts rustic bar
siblings in the city. Sit among the odd chairs and unpolished wooden table and go away at all
from souvas to flatbread pizzas and northern cheeses, or take a seat at the bar and quench your
thirst with Norrland beer and cocktails with berries in.
